First appointment - Initial Consultation -1 hour
History, Postural analysis, and initial spinal exam
On this appointment we review your history, try understand if our approach will be helpful for your condition and if you are a candidate for NUCCA care. We take inital postural measurements, and you get to see in real-time in the mirror what we find. We also perform our initial spinal examination and answer any questions you have.
Second visit - First adjustment - 1.5-2 hours
Initial X-rays and first adjustment
On this visit your initial X-rays are taken, a more detailed examination is performed based on your case, and you are adjusted for the first time. The adjustment is gentle. Typically patients can see their posture improve when their posture measurements are retaken post adjustment.
Follow-up appointment - 15 minutes
Stabilizing care
Typically patients are checked weekly for the first 3-6 weeks while their posture stabilizes. Once your posture is starting to show adequate stability a plan will be continue to monitor your posture at longer intervals as your body continues to heal.
